Spring Market is around the corner!

SpringMarketWeb2018Saturday, May 12th is the Whole School’s 21st annual Spring Market from 10-3pm.  There is so much fun stuff going on – BBQ concession with burgers donated by Wayne Savinkoff’s Home of the Happy Cow and local pork donated by Blair Leaman’s Poet Pig Farm, delicious desserts made by Whole School families, garden plants, kids games with prizes, and fabulous local artisans and vendors – Soulumination Art Works, Freedom Creations woolens, Under the Boddhi Tree imported clothing, Stacie Lobreau’s wild craft products, and Wildfire Glassworks.  Come and do your  Mother’s Day shopping at the market!

Come make Spring Harvest Baskets!

This Friday, March 9th is the last of The Whole School’s FREE Ready, Set, Learn program.  Please take this opportunity to come and check out the Whole School for some fun crafts, snacks and reading with Suzanne!  It’s a great chance to see the school and find out more abouThe doorbell rangt the Whole School program.

At this Friday’s reading readiness program the children will be making Spring Harvest Baskets, baking cookies and reading Beyond the Norther Lights by Lynn Blaikie and The Doorbell Rang by Pat Hutchins!  Please come and join in from 9-noon at the Whole School.  See you there!

Call out to Market Vendors

Spring seems so far away, but The Whole School Spring Market is calling for artisans, vendors and performers.  The Market is happening Saturday, May 12 from 10-3pm.

This event brings out loads of families.  There are games and activities for children, a big plant sale, music, BBQ, and concession.

All proceeds go to school programs for students!  Vending fee is $20 per booth.

Ready, Set, LEARN ! Owl Moon

Tomorrow is Ready, Set, LEARN! at the Whole School.  Come and join Suzanne Bechard in wet-on-wet painting, talking about the night and reading OWL MOON by Jane Yolen.

9-noon at 5614 Hwy 6, Winlaw – The Whole School.  Snacks, songs, crafts & story time.  OWL MOON
