Whole School ART SHOW at Sissies!

We are so happy to announce that the Whole School students will be displaying their paintings at Sleep is For Sissies! To celebrate the kids’ artwork, we are hosting a grand opening this Thursday, Feb 15th, from 2:45-3:15 at Sleep is For Sissies. Please come out to show your support and browse some amazing artwork.

This art show is special because the students have hand-crafted their own paintings from scratch. They have built, glued, and screwed their own frames, prepped and stretched their own canvases, and even designed and crafted their own unique paintbrushes. Their artwork follows in the style of Canadian legendary Anishinaabe artist Norval Morrisseau, and depicts spirit animals in bold, bright colours. Each painting is unique, and reflects the young artist that crafted it.

The art will be viewable at Sissies from Feb 15 – Feb 28, after which the students will bring their creations home.

 We will see you there!
